
FOODIE EXPERIENCE
Day 1
Zagreb
Arrival in the city of Zagreb. Upon arrival, we will start sightseeing the city, including Jelačić Square, the cathedral, and a walk through the Upper Town. For lunch we will visit Dolac and enjoy turkey with mince pies and štrukli, traditional dishes. Afternoon exploration of Upper and Lower Town. We will explore the Upper Town, including the Lotrščak Tower and St. Mark's Church, and the Lower Town and Zrinjevac. Dinner in a modern restaurant in Zagreb, enjoying contemporary Croatian cuisine. Overnight.

Day 2
Osijek . Kutjevo
After breakfast, weare going to Kutjevo where you will enjoy lunch and a tasting of Graševina and Riesling. You will enjoy local wines with typical wine snacks. We will visit the Kutjevac cellars where we will taste their wines. We continue towards Osijek. Osijek is the biggest city in eastern Croatia. It is located in a plain on the right bank of the Drava River between 16 and 24 kilometers from the mouth of the Danube.. Dinner at a local restaurant includes Slavonian specialties and makovnjača, a traditional dessert. Overnight stay.

Day 3
Osijek . Đakovo
After breakfast, we leave for Đakovo. Đakovo is a town in eastern Croatia, where the Roman emperor Probus planted the first vines in the 3rd century, wine has become an inseparable part of the Slavonic tradition. It is therefore not surprising that the largest, oldest and most awarded vineyards are located in this part of the country. The wines here are, indeed, a special story. The city bears the title "Heart of Slavonia". You will taste wines in the wine cellars of the Archdiocese of Đakovo-Osijek. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay.


Day 4
Baranja . Beli Manstir
After breakfast, we are going to Baranja. Baranja literally means "wine mother" from Hungarian. The name is not surprising when in Baranja, in addition to the already well-known fish stew, you will also try some of the best Croatian wines. Not far from the White Monastery, we will visit the wonderful Kneževo vineyards and the largest wine cellar built back in 1526, which is now owned by the Belje winery. Dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight stay.


Day 5
Delnice . Plitivce
Departure to Delnice. Tour of the city center and lunch at a local restaurant. The cuisine of Delnica Trolista, as well as the entire Gorski Kotar, is a reflection of life in a wooded area where summers are short and winters long, so the choice of food is limited. After lunch, departure to Plitvice lakes. Tour of the lake with a local guide. Dinner in a nearby restaurant. Overnight stay.

Day 6
Opatija i Istra
Departure to Opatija for breakfast with coffee and Opatija sweets. Let's head to Motovun for lunch, where you'll try Istrian fuje with truffles and Istrian prosciutto. In the afternoon we go truffle hunting in Motovun. You will embark on this interesting adventure accompanied by a licensed guide and their tracking dogs Bela and Nera, who are true masters in finding truffles. You will learn everything about truffles, about hunting for truffles, and you will taste the flavors of truffles at a tasting of dishes with truffles. Overnight stay.

Day 7
Istra wine tour
After breakfast, you will visit the Kabola winery. Kabola Winery is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful in Istria. Located on a picturesque hill near the town of Momjana, surrounded by vineyards, this stone, traditional Istrian edition brings a romantic atmosphere and a superb wine and gastronomic experience for the palate. The wine story of the Markežić family and Kabola winery began way back in 1891 with Momjanski Muscat. From then until today, the winery has formed its own distinctive style under the Kabola brand, which is actually the family's nickname. They were the first in Croatia to start producing wine in amphorae and the first in Istria to switch to organic production. You will finish the day here. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 8
Zagreb
After breakfast, departure for Zagreb. Where will we visit the Bornstein wine shop. In Vinoteca Bornstein, one of the oldest and most famous wine shops in Zagreb, you will have the opportunity to taste top Croatian wines from different regions, such as Dalmatia, Istria and Slavonia. The sommelier will explain the characteristics of each wine and how it matches with different dishes. For lunch we will go to the famous Zagreb restaurant Vinodol, located in the city center, which offers a wide selection of traditional Croatian dishes with a modern twist. End of the tour. Departure to the airport.
